EQUILIBRA & CHARITY » 2008

This year Equilibra has entered into the program “Piccolo Cosmo” (“small universe”) addressed to support the construction of free structures in Turin to provide hospitality for patients suffering from illness or economical difficulty and their families from all parts of Italy. The project includes the restoration of a building in Turin and the construction of 14 living units with common canteen, kitchen and laundry, infirmary and recreation rooms.
The idea is to provide these accommodations for free to the families of young patients and long-term patients, which due to economical difficulty and distance cannot live near their relative in need of medical care in the sanitary structures of our city. The management itself, which is totally based on the work of expert professional volunteers and ordinary people operating side by side with the same enthusiasm, has opened a medical and dental laboratory in Turin that provides free assistance. Anyone with economical difficulty and not affording dental care may get free service without distinction of age, nationality or origin.

Equilibra helps people in our country during a moment of widespread economical difficulty. The projects are ambitious but will be faced with the passion and transparency that have always distinguished us.
